Almost twenty years ago Dr. Norman Borlaug, a central participant in the “green revolution” and winner of both the Nobel peace Prize and World Food Prize, and his associates, asked Angelo S. Morini to create a way to maximize the health benefits of an intriguing ancient seed called Salvia hispanica L. and use his knowledge to market this amazing food to the world.
 
Angelo S. Morini developed a new “cultivar” of Salvia hispanica L. He took the great attributes of Salvia hispanica L and maximized the nutrition of the plant by incorporating only Non GMO old fashioned methods of selection. Marilyn is an author, speaker, life coach, and corporate trainer in marketing and personal development. She has been on the advisory board for two nutritional and nutraceutical companies in the U.S. and Canada, and is certified in Process Communication under renowned psychologist and behavioral scientist Dr.Taibi Kahler. Marilyn is an advocate and voice for the many Seniors who have no voice for which she authored the book “Living the Seasons of Life – Fall and Winter” to give understanding to the fears, the wants and needs of those in the Winter Season of Life. Marilyn entered the world of natural health and nutrition at the age of 26 when she experienced multiple health challenges and after months of testing by doctors which left them without answers or a clear diagnosis she was told she was probably in the early stages of MS but could not be given a certain diagnosis. The doctor who summarized the many in depth tests simply told her that when her symptoms worsened and she could no longer do her functions as a wife and mother of her then 3 very young children she could come back for a more conclusive diagnosis.

In that moment Marilyn made a declaration that… “The God who created me also created all that is necessary to heal my body naturally and I will find it!” That sent her on a lifelong quest to find those answers and led her to studies and companies that gave her some of the answers along the way. However, after over 50 years of research and connection with some of the finest natural product companies, holistic doctors and scientific researchers, and finding part of the answers that helped her health Marilyn was finally introduced to Anutra and realized her prayer and declaration were answered. It is a joy to be President of this most important new ministry! More information will be posted shortly about the work we at Anutra are undertaking, but for now I have been asked to put a little about my background in ministry.

I believe I actually started my ministry when I was 12 years old and the minister asked us to take some tracts from the rack and share the Good News with others. I did so immediately with great joy. Over all the years since I have been a minister’s wife for 21 years, taught classes in all age levels and created materials for those classes. Started opportunities of ministry for others involving several hundred Christians using their talents and desires to help others. I’ve prepared and hosted several area wide retreats covering several States in the Midwest. I’ve been a church secretary to do all the work behind the scenes and I have authored and taught seminars and classes on personal and spiritual growth in many States, Canada and Mexico. I’m here to help all who would like to be involved and who can be blessed by these ministries.

Graduated in 1978 from the University of Florida, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences with a degree in Animal Science.  After graduating, I spent years negotiating year-round purchasing agreements as an ingredient buyer, technical nutritional advisor for the sales team and operated an equine nutrition helpline. Retired after 42 years as Equine Nutritionist at a premium equine feed manufacturer.

 

During my career I was actively involved with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services with the Feed Technical Council.  Later served on the Agricultural Advisory Council tasked to provide the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture with stakeholder input and expertise on issues relating to its regulatory responsibilities.  Served many offices within the Florida Feed Association and was also involved with the American Feed Industry Association Nutrition Council and Equine Committee. 

 

I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Florida Rural Rehabilitation Corporation serving as Vice President. Also serve on the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, SHARE Council as a member of the nominating committee.

Volunteered time serving on Church Council, Staff Parish Relations Committee, and Finance Committee.  Married to my bride of 29 years, Rhonda.  We have two daughters, Michelle and Allison, who are also recent graduates of the University of Florida.  Currently we have two dogs, two cats, two pasture ornament horses, and a host of thoroughbred weanling to yearling pin-hooks.

 

I’m a devoted Christian, husband, and father serving many years as a life coach. I like to think I have been influential in helping many others succeed.

Dr. Walsh is a family practice physician who also specializes in sports medicine. For nearly 40 years, he has worked with athletes on all levels of competition and in all sports.

He is the former medical director for Mahoning County, Ohio and is a reserve flight surgeon with the rank of Colonel.

Dr. Walsh received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri and a Bachelor of Science, Microbiology, from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.

My personal life for the past 33 years has been serving Christ and being married to my wonderful Christian wife Sammye. We have resided in Ocala Florida since 2002. My passion in life is about people and mentoring the next generation of business leaders.
